This lethal process (Ferroptosis) is defined by the iron-dependent accumulation of lipid reactive oxygen species and depletion of plasma membrane polyunsaturated fatty acids. The Spike Protein accomplishes this depletion by BINDING to Linoleic Acid which IS a n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid.

If the spike crosses the BBB this is partcularly critical as Linoleic Acid in the brain has connections among serotonin, platelets, cytoskeletal proteins and other molecular  interactions with implications regarding the genesis of the brain behavior.
